Privacy Policy

Guns for Eyes · Last updated 4 July 2026

Guns for Eyes is a turn-based tactics game. This policy explains, in plain terms, what data the game holds, why, and the control you have over it. We do not run ads, and we do not sell your data.

What we collect

What we do NOT do

How your data is used

Only to run the game: to match you with opponents, track your rank, show your games and friends, send the sign-in link and any turn alerts you enable, and diagnose problems. When you play an online match, your display name and rank tier are visible to your opponent — that is inherent to playing.

Where it lives

The web app is served by Vercel, the game server runs on Render, and game data is stored in Upstash (Redis). Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. These providers process data only to deliver those services on our behalf.

Your rights

You are always in control of your data from inside the game:

Data retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and is removed when you delete it. Individual matches expire automatically after about two weeks of inactivity.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes will be surfaced in the game.
